A Delegation of the Chamber of Auditors of the Republic of Azerbaijan Paid a Working Visit to Ankara.

In order to develop institutional partnership mechanisms between the Chamber of Auditors of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Public Oversight and Auditing Standards Authority of the Republic of Türkiye (KGK), implement specific measures for joint cooperation between the regulatory bodies of our countries in the areas of audit quality control, combating unfair competition and dumping, professional training and certification of auditors, as well as establish a unified association of audit and accounting organizations of the Turkic-speaking states, a delegation headed by Vahid Novruzov, Chairman of the Chamber of Auditors and Professor, paid a working visit to Ankara, Republic of Türkiye, from 26 to 30 April 2026. 

The four-day visit program of the delegation was carried out in accordance with the Cooperation Agreement previously signed in Baku between the Public Oversight, Auditing and Accounting Standards Authority of the Republic of Türkiye and the Chamber of Auditors of Azerbaijan.

Within the framework of the visit, the main topics of discussion included the exchange of experience, as well as the steps to be taken towards establishing an accounting and independent auditing body within the Organization of Turkic States. A productive exchange of views was held on personnel training, quality control and professional ethics.

An agreement was reached on implementing the planned measures during the expected visits of Turkish specialists to Baku in June and September of the current year.
