EFAA was established in 1994 and is a unified organization bringing together national organizations of accountants and auditors with individual members providing professional services to small and medium-sized enterprises in the European Union and throughout Europe. EFAA has 17 members representing more than 320,000 accountants and auditors across Europe. Its current President is Bodo Richard. The Chamber of Auditors of the Republic of Azerbaijan is a full member of this organization.

The Eurasian Council of Certified Accountants and Auditors (ECCAA) is a non-governmental and non-profit organization established by professional organizations — legal entities representing auditors and accountants of the CIS countries. The main objective of the Eurasian Council of Certified Accountants and Auditors (ECCAA) is to contribute to the development and enhancement of the status of the accounting and auditing professions and to ensure the implementation and application of international professional standards and professional ethics.

NOVEMBER 2008 - INTERNATIONAL FEDERATION OF ACCOUNTANTS (IFAC) 

 

 

The Chamber of Auditors of the Republic of Azerbaijan is a full member of the International Federation of Accountants (IFAC), which brings together more than 175 members from over 130 countries. Since 2003, the Chamber had represented our country in this organization as an associate member. The objective of IFAC is to strengthen the professional activities of accountants and auditors worldwide and contribute to the development of the global economy. The organization was established on 7 October 1977 in Munich, Germany, at the 11th World Congress of Accountants, and its current President is Olivia Kirtley.
