
Namiq Rasim Abbasli was born on 25 April 1971 in the city of Tovuz.
In 1988, he graduated from A.S. Pushkin Secondary School in Tovuz and enrolled at the Baku Branch of the N.A. Voznesensky Leningrad Institute of Finance and Economics (later the Azerbaijan State Institute of Economics).
In 1993, he graduated from the Faculty of Economics and Production Management of the Azerbaijan State Institute of Economics.
From 1994 to 1996, he completed compulsory military service in the Armed Forces of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
From 1992 to 1999, he worked as an accountant and chief accountant in various organizations.
He has been a member of the Chamber of Auditors of the Republic of Azerbaijan since 2000.
Since 2004, he has also been a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA).
From 2000 to 2014, he practiced as an independent auditor. Since 2014, he has served as Director-Auditor of ANR Audit LLC.
From 2004 to 2014, he was a member of the Council of the Chamber of Auditors.
As a member of the Chamber of Auditors, he participated in numerous international conferences and seminars held in various countries. In 2011, he became one of the co-authors of the textbook "Audit" published by the Chamber of Auditors.
In 2008, he was awarded the honorary title of "Honorary Auditor" by the Chamber of Auditors.
By the Order No. 1934 of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated 4 April 2016, he was awarded the "Progress" Medal for his contributions to the development of auditing.
