Axundov Nazim Zakir

Born on 5 August 1962 in the city of Lankaran.
In 1986, he graduated from the Faculty of Economics of Voronezh State University (Russia).
From 1997 to 1998, he worked as an Auditor and Tax Consultant at KPMG Azerbaijan Limited.
Since 13 October 1998, he has been practicing as an Independent Auditor.
He has actively participated in events organized by the Chamber of Auditors of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
He is one of the authors of the Industry Audit Programs and the first and second editions of the textbook Audit.
He is a member of the committees under the Council of the Chamber of Auditors of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
In 2012, he was awarded the honorary badge Honorary Auditor by the Chamber of Auditors.

By the Order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated 15 April 2021, on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the Chamber of Auditors of the Republic of Azerbaijan, he was awarded the Progress Medal for his contributions to the development of the auditing profession.
